There was an older man who came into Little Caesars a little perplexed. He was pretty scattered and accidentally left his stuff outside on the bench, so he went back outside to get his things, rather slowly. On his way back in he opened the door for another man of about his age and let him go in first, even though he had already ordered. After this other man ordered, he offered to pay for the random stranger who let him go in front. It was one of the nicest random acts of kindness I’ve even witnessed. The perplexed man took his food gratefully and sat down in one of our chairs and sat there and ate his food. He got there at around 6:30 and was still there when I left at 8. I remember talking to God when he first walked in and wishing that I could get to know him and by the end of the night I knew plenty about him. His name is Mr. Ramsey and he works at Delta Airlines. He moved to Atlanta from Jamaica and is a flight attendant now. He heard my singing and really inspired me a lot. He told me to never give up on my dreams, and that I should remember him when I win a Grammy. I can definitely say that I’ll remember him.
